GUEST SPEAKER

IMG_2759.png

Scott Walker completed 3 years at Miller College of the Bible. Since then he has been busy being a husband to Keturah, a father to their baby boy, a plumber, and a speaker at various events. Scott enjoys a good board game, playing or listening to music, discussing (or debating) theology, and disc golf.

Spiritual Goal

This get away retreat is intended to do two things. Number 1 is to grow your faith in God. Leaving feeling more confident in Jesus Christ, knowing you have your own personnel relationship with Jesus Christ. We see that  Jesus, through His humanity did this too, Luke 2:52 says "And Jesus kept increasing in wisdom and stature and in favour with God and man" Number 2, we want those who attend to not only have a Christian friend but learn how to challenge one another and sharpen each others faith. Similarly to Proverbs 27:17 "Iron sharpens iron; so one man sharpens another"
